Tomorrow's
Champions

Sail+ Racing is a mixed group of elite athletes focused on competing at world championship-level events and closing the gap from youth to professional sailing.

With over 40+ years of combined experience, our athletes have achieved multiple podium results at state, national, international and world championship events.

Our Mission

In Australia, more than 45% of youth sailors leave our sport after graduating high school. The lack of a clear pathway to professional sailing, limited support and high financial costs are some of the reasons sailors are forced to leave.

Sail+ Racing’s mission is to retain sailors by creating a sustainable and inclusive pathway for sailors aspiring to professional sailing.

Sail+ Racing 2025/26 Calendar

Sail+ Racing aims to build on our performance from the previous season in both the World Match Racing Tour (WMRT) and the Sailing Champions League (SCL).

This season, we are already ahead of our schedule, having won the SCL Asia-Pacific Finals for the third time. Our next goal is to qualify for the WMRT Final in China at the start of the 2026 season, with the hope of securing a place on the WMRT season podium.

The 2025 GKSS Match Cup will be held from June 30 to July 5, raced on the Fareast 28R high-performance keelboats. This is the only event on the tour that coincides with the Women’s World Match Racing Tour, competing for the Nordea Women’s Trophy.
